Commission Disclosure
How SWEALTH SERVICES is compensated for mutual fund and other product distribution.
Updated: 1 August 2026
How We Earn
SWEALTH SERVICES distributes regular plans of mutual fund schemes. Regular plans carry a distribution commission that is built into the scheme's expense ratio and paid by the Asset Management Company (AMC) to us — it is not charged to you as a separate, additional fee.
Indicative Commission Range
Commission (“trail commission”) on regular-plan mutual fund schemes typically ranges from approximately 0.10% to 1.50% per annum of the assets held through us, varying by AMC, scheme category (equity, debt, hybrid) and the tenure of the investment. Exact, scheme-specific commission structures are disclosed by AMCs in their Scheme Information Documents and are available on request.
Other Products
For insurance products (Bajaj Life, ManipalCigna, general insurance) and for fixed/recurring deposits, commission is paid by the respective insurer or deposit issuer as per their standard distributor arrangements, and does not add to your premium or deposit rate.
Why We Disclose This
SEBI and AMFI require mutual fund distributors to make commission arrangements transparent to investors. We publish this page so you always know that our recommendations are made within a commission-based distribution model — not a fee-only advisory model — and can factor that into your own decision-making.
Regular Plan vs Direct Plan
Every mutual fund scheme is also available as a Direct Plan, which carries no distributor commission and consequently a lower expense ratio. Direct plans are purchased directly with the AMC, without distributor assistance, KYC support or the additional servicing we provide through SWEALTH SERVICES. You are free to invest directly with any AMC if you prefer.
